I am so excited to know that peeps from all over the world are inquiring about our fabulous book club! How exciting. Now that I know people are reading our blog, I am going to make sure we all leave posts each week. We have read a ton of books. I think a pre-requisite to get in our club should be reading "Reading Lolita in Tehran." I am going to have to pick up my new book sometime over the weekend. I always judge books by their covers and this one caught my eye the last time I was at Barnes & Noble. Yay!

I finished the book last night. It was really good but I do have one thing to point out. The author overuses the work "hence". I can understand if she has one characte that frequently uses the term, maybe Brenda. But no, she has Vicki and Josh both use it as well. Josh? Really? Do YOU know any 22 year olds who say "Hence"? Sorry, it just bugged me. Otherwise, great book, great characters.

I've only read the first 100 pages and I like it so far. When Blaine was lost at the beach I didn't like how the baby kept grabbing Vicki's nipple in her bathing suit and milk was running down her belly. I don't need to know about things like that.
