WECT reported yesterday that UNCW freshmen got to design and fly kites after finishing "The Kite Runner" for their big project. Wow. I'd have done fantastic in school if all I had to do was fly kites. :)
That's hilarious. No kidding, we actually did that in my 4th grade class. But I am glad to hear that we're about 1.5 years ahead of the reading of college students. The Kite Runner was soooo 2005.
I hope all of you Englischers had a Happy Thanskgiving. I finished the book and I loved it. I bet Samuel Stoltzfus is hot for an Amish guy. I liked "Plain Truth" much better than those butt raping Afganistans in "Kite Runner."
I bet those Amish have one hell - oops - heck of a turkey day!! Do they get to celebrate Thanksgiving? I hope so because I bet Mama Fischer makes a mean pumpkin pie....... :-)
