This was such a great book. I hate that I missed our discussion for this as not only was I a Junior League member but I also grew up having maids and a yard man. Our yard man Earl started working for my great-grandparents. He watched my dad and then my sisters and I all grow up. I was in middle or high school when he finally decided to retire. He was so sweet and thoughtful. We used to go visit him at his house every Christmas.
