I liked this book a lot. It reminds me of Summer Sisters by Judy Blume. I think Kristin Hannah ripped off Judy Blume's idea. This is an easy read, especially when you are sitting on the beach.
I really don't think the ending was so sad. I think things wrapped up and you knew what was coming. It wasn't a shocker like the ending of Friday Night Knitting Club.
i started to read the last 50 or so pages the other day and decided i didn't feel like boo-hooing. maybe i will have my lifetime movie moment tonight. no real shockers though.

I agree. I haven't gotten to the sad part, but it is a good beach read that hasn't forced me to think too much. :-)
